Who Are We?
GaMaBhaNa is a UK based social initiative founded in March 2017 by Santosh Deshpande and Supriya Deshpande and supported by a lot of like-minded passionate people based in the United Kingdom, Europe, India and USA.

We see this initiative as a social investment, where change in society is our true currency. Our goal is not to generate profit, but to create a better world and give our children a proud identity as British/European Indians.

What we do
Free Marathi Classes
Providing Marathi language education for children and young adults aged 3 to 23—helping them speak, read, and write with confidence. Our online program currently serves over 250 learners across the UK and Europe.
Music & Theatre
We specialize in curating exceptional musical and theatrical experiences in the UK, featuring renowned artists from India alongside talented local professionals. Our primary focus is on presenting Hindustani Classical and Semi-Classical music concerts that celebrate tradition while engaging contemporary audiences.
Workshops for Children
Offering a diverse range of creative and experiential workshops—from Ganesh Murti making and music sessions to outdoor adventures, farm visits, and nature trails—designed to inspire learning and cultural connection.
Constellations Sessions
Inspiring young minds through meaningful conversations with visionary leaders from business, academia, government, and technology—sparking curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning

A curated collection of over 500 Marathi books for adults—delivered to your doorstep and picked up from anywhere in the UK, completely free of charge.
